Implementation

Put the agreed strategy to work.

We can deliver the work directly or support your team and suppliers in putting it into practice — keeping the activity connected to the objectives behind it.

Every strategy engagement includes an implementation brief for the agreed priorities. It sets out what needs doing, why it matters and what the work needs to achieve, so the people delivering it can act on the recommendations.

The brief is included in the original scope, whether you appoint us, use your own team or commission another supplier.

Direct delivery

Where the work fits our expertise and availability, we can undertake the implementation ourselves. We agree the deliverables, responsibilities, fee and timetable before work begins.

This can be a defined project or ongoing support, provided the work follows an agreed strategy.

Coordination and oversight

We can work with your internal team or external suppliers, keeping delivery aligned with the brief and reviewing progress against the agreed objectives.

Where needed, this can include assessing potential suppliers or reviewing their proposals. External suppliers are appointed and paid directly by you; our coordination and oversight are agreed separately.

You don’t need to commission a strategy engagement from us before discussing implementation.

We start by understanding the objectives, evidence and reasoning behind the proposed work. Where those foundations are already in place, we can agree the delivery required without repeating work you’ve already done.

Where important questions remain unresolved, we identify what needs addressing before committing to implementation.

Any delivery, supplier-selection support or additional coordination is scoped and quoted separately from the strategy engagement. What we take on depends on the requirements, our expertise and our availability.

You can also take the included brief forward independently, without retaining us for further work.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Can our team or current suppliers implement the recommendations?

Yes. The report is designed to be usable by the people already involved in your marketing. It sets out priorities, rationale and next steps so your team or providers can decide what to do and why. If a recommendation requires a capability they do not have, we can discuss the most appropriate way to source it.

Which recommendations can you implement yourselves?

Where it makes sense, we can scope work in areas such as websites, SEO, email, Google Ads and paid social. That depends on the recommendation and the delivery requirements. Work that needs other specialist skills can be handled by your existing providers or considered separately. Implementation is never assumed to be part of the strategy fee.

Is an ongoing retainer required?

No. The strategy engagement is a defined project with a written outcome. Some businesses use their own people to act on it; others ask for implementation or further strategic support. We discuss any further work separately, based on what the evidence shows and what the business needs.
