How we work

Decide what needs to happen. Then make it happen.

We provide independent analysis to establish where marketing deserves investment, with optional delivery or oversight to put the agreed recommendations into practice.

Two distinct parts of the work.

Strategy engagement

We investigate the decision, assess the evidence and recommend what deserves priority, with an implementation brief for the agreed work.

Implementation

We can deliver the work or support your team and suppliers, subject to expertise and availability, with a separate scope, fee and timetable.

Strategy engagement

Understand what deserves action — and why.

We start with the decision you need to make, not a service we want to sell. Your knowledge of the business helps define the question; our analysis tests the assumptions and identifies where the strongest case for action sits.

You receive a written report with findings, priorities and practical recommendations, plus an implementation brief for the agreed priorities. We present the findings and discuss what they mean for the business.

Implementation

Put the agreed priorities into practice.

Using the agreed brief, we can deliver work that fits our expertise and availability, or support your team and suppliers in putting it into practice.

You can also approach us with a strategy prepared internally or by another provider. We review the objectives and reasoning before agreeing any delivery or oversight, which is optional and quoted separately.

Explore implementation

The recommendation comes first. Who implements it comes second.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What time and information will you need from us?

The main scheduled commitment is a strategic session of roughly two hours, followed by a 60-minute findings presentation. We will also need relevant business context and access to the information that bears on the question, with check-ins during the analysis. The proposal will specify the material and people needed for your particular engagement.

How long does a strategy engagement take?

The total timeline depends on the scope, the evidence available and the people who need to contribute. We agree the work and expected delivery schedule in the proposal. The process includes the initial qualification call, a strategic session, analysis with check-ins, a written report and a 60-minute presentation.

Who will work on our project?

You will work directly with Louis, who leads the research, analysis and recommendations. If a later implementation project calls for specialist delivery beyond our own work, that would be discussed and scoped separately. The strategic recommendation is not passed to an unnamed production team.

How is this different from a marketing agency or fractional CMO?

This is a defined piece of independent analysis to support a significant decision. An agency may be engaged to deliver particular campaigns or channels; a fractional CMO usually takes an ongoing leadership role inside a business. Our report can guide either route, and you can choose who carries out the recommendations. We can quote separately for selected implementation work.

Start with a 30-minute conversation.

Bring us the decision you're working through. We'll use the session to understand where the uncertainty is and establish whether we can help.
